5 Stars Perfection!!! Sports and Movies like you have never seen them before
I did research on TV’s for about a month. Between reading reviews on different websites and going to the stores to see them in person what it came down to was this TV just looks better than the rest. The only bad reviews I ever really saw about this TV has been taken care of with the firmware update. I love watching Sports and Movies and between watching my Baseball and Football games in HD and Movies on Blu Ray on this TV I couldn’t be any happier.

1 Star Amazon Sucks
While I have no complaints about this TV but Amazon really really disappointed me. I purchased the LN52A650 model for 2199 with a promise of 200 dollar cash rebate on labor day weekend. I purchased the TV stand which goes along with the TV for 300 from best buy and after waiting for 7 long days, I get an email (not even a phone call) from Amazon saying that the 200 dollar cash rebate is actually a rebate of some autographed sports stuff which is not what I was lured to buy the product in the first place. This is just unfair and more than monetary value is waste of my time and energy. I hate amazon.

5 Stars amazing tv, very satisfied purchase
I was going to get the a550 in the first place. After comparing the a550 and the a650 at a local Sears, I saw the difference. I really liked the more vibrant colors from the a650’s glossy screen. Glossy means glare but it’s really not in issue. I have windows on the side of the living room and it’s fine.

Then the price of the a750 came down to 2318 (early July?), which was lower than the a650’s price at that time. After comparing the two, I went for the a650 instead. Picture quality-wise, they’re the same. I liked the more curved design of the a650 vs the rectangular shape of the a750. Also, the a750 does not swivel and a number of people complained about the “halo effect.” It’s hard to see it at the local store. I wasn’t going to take the risk and plus, a TV is also a decoration in the living room (IMHO). I just waited for the price of the a650 to be a little bit lower…

After reading all (or almost all) the reviews here about the TV itself and buying from Amazon, I pulled the trigger when the price went down to 2269.99 from 2299.99. I felt very comfortable purchasing a big TV online from a big retailer. Everything went as expected. My purchase was made on the night of the 15th (Tuesday). It shipped out the next day and the price was lowered to 2199.99, which Amazon refunded me after I simply emailed them. The TV was delivered on Friday afternoon (18th). Two guys carried it in, set it on my TV stand, connected the DVD player to it, and made sure it works. They took all the trash with them and reminded me to keep the box for 30 days in case of a return/exchange.

The TV is great! Enough said.

5 Stars Better Than I Expected
This is my first HD TV and my first purchase of a large, expensive item from Amazon. I did a lot of research (online and in person at the big box electronic/computer stores) and finally selected the Samsung model 650 with 120 hz. I am completely satisfied. Our viewing room has a lot of natural light in it from one side–about 15 ft. from the TV. No problem. No glare and no negative impact on the quality of the picture. Our wide viewing angle is fine, too.

Amazon’s white glove delivery is top notch.

And, finally, the price was very competitive.

I highly recommend both Samsung and Amazon.

5 Stars Best TV Buying experinece ever.
I was in a big blue box store looking at all the flat screens when this guy walked by comparing TV’s with his note paper. I started talking to him and told me that Amazon has the same thing for much lower. That was the start of my perfect buying experience. I went home looked up a few TV’s and wow what a difference in price. After all the reviews, I decided to go with the 52in Samsung 650. Wow, what an amazing view. I could never imagined such a good picture this could have. Now I have to make myself get up and get away from it. The picture quality is amazing. This along with an Upscale DVD, AV receiver and HD source is a great viewing experience. Amazon shipping is awesome. I placed my order on a Friday and had it delivered, unboxed, and cleaned up (by Amazon for FREE!) by the next Friday.

Now to top it off. The price dropped $190 within the 30 days of shipping so I emailed them and without hesitation they refunded to my CC.
